With the rise in the number of drug users today, we often wonder why these people choose to use drugs. What benefits are they getting from them? Why is it that in spite of knowing all the dangers, they still risk being involved with drugs? Sometimes itâs really hard to understand the choices that people make and when itâs too late they regret these choices. But if there is one thing good that may come out of it, itâs the fact that there are those people who managed to get back on their feet. The best thing of all, they were able to help others by being an example that they too, can change and sharing them ways on how to recover or get out of addiction. Just like these two women who worked to rebuild lives after a decade of opioid abuse. Click here to read the news. Shawna Taylor had been using opioids for 15 years when she got in trouble for transporting illegal drugs. "I was selling heroin, so I could support my habit," Taylor said. "It's exhausting living like that. I almost died in my car." Facing a seven-year sentence, Taylor accepted the offer to participate in Rutherford County Drug Court, which is among the four recovery court services. Taylor is one of 60 participants in a drug court seeing a rise in cases involving opioids. The court is designed to help eligible nonviolent offenders overcome substance abuse and avoid serving out sentences in an often overcrowded county jail. Formed in 1998, the drug court is presided over by Circuit Judge David Bragg. "The goal is to teach people to be taxpayers and not tax takers," Bragg said. "That's why it's so important they all have jobs and pay off their court costs and fines, and help reimburse county taxpayers for the cost of the recovery courts." 2 women work to rebuild lives after decade of opioid abuse is available on https://www.rehabnear.me/ from https://www.rehabnear.me/2-women-work-to-rebuild-lives-after-decade-of-opioid-abuse/

As drug addiction has become a serious problem with so many kinds of drugs getting available and the number of users constantly increasing, so many programs are made with a goal of ending the problem. These programs have greatly contributed to saving many lives that could have been destroyed by drugs. In many countries, as they have their own struggles with drug addiction, they too have their own programs. This is such a good thing and though in come cases, the results may not be immediate or very successful, there are still a lot of positive things that come out of it. Just like in Arlington, their crime rate has dropped after they have started their programs for homelessness and drug addiction. Click here to read the article. ARLINGTON, Wash. – Every corner of our area is dealing with the effects of the opioid crisis. From homelessness to property crimes, the domino effect of that lifestyle is showing up in our everyday lives. But there’s a glimmer of hope in Arlington. While the opioid crisis is at an all-time high in Snohomish County, the Arlington Police Department says crime is down overall. Burglaries, robberies, thefts are just a few of the categories seeing double digit decreases. While not all of those crimes are being committed by people who are homeless or drug-addicted, the police department believes there’s a direct correlation between their outreach efforts and crime going down. It’s just so disappointing that in spite of knowing the consequences they have to face for doing so, still, they do it. The rules are now stricter across the world and there are now more institutions that are playing a significant role in trying to end the problem with drug addiction. But now, here is another news about Kern country men that are charged for drug distribution. A federal grand jury is charging two men from Kern County with drug distribution charges, one facing five years and the other facing 10 years and one month. Click the link for more information. Mario Alvarez-Muniz, 50, of Taft who assisted in the transportation of drugs, which were headed to detroit was sentenced to 10 years and one month last year, after a previously guilty plea. The two were transporting 6 kilograms of heroin and 11 kilgrams of cocaine that planned to arrive in Chicago. Yes, this is how daring the world has been that people fear nothing anymore. What is worse is that, the number of people whoinvolve themselves in drugs in any way possible is quickly increasing. This also means that so many of them are likely to get arrested because of such. Just like in Delaware, a man together with his parents has been arrested after over 300 bags of heroin were found in their home. This case is not the first time but itâs just surprising that even a family can get involved in this thing. We would always expect parents to be the ones to teach their kids the right thing to do but it appears that it wasnât the case for them. Click here to read the article. The Delaware State Police said in a news release that the arrests were preceded by a month-long investigation into 20-year-old Ellis J. Cannon II. They executed a search warrant on Friday at the home he shares with his parents in Bridgeville. In addition to the heroin, investigators say they found crack cocaine, marijuana and a weapon. In most cases, it can be the result of depression, failure, or any other factor. Recently, one factor that is causing suicide among people across the world is drug addiction. If there is anyone who totally understands the pain of such, it would be the loved ones of those who committed suicide. In fact, many people are not able to get out of it and this can be due to a lot of factors. For one, the lack of support from others- friends and family members can greatly contribute to it. For others, they are not able to do it because they do not have enough will and determination to do so. Here is a group called as Recover Out Loud, an addiction recovery group that is based in Greensburg that strives for sobriety in its members by developing self-confidence and positive relationships. With this, the journey to get out of addiction becomes a lot easier as you have people who understands your situation beside you to give support. Click here to read the article. Addiction destroys lives and relationships. Recover Out Loud co-founders John Cunningham and Jason Fry, who are best friends, know from experience. âOur relationship was toxic. Today, our relationship is as healthy as it has ever been,â Cunningham said. âWe are about making connections and relationships. You canât do this on your own.â Cunningham has been sober for seven years and Fry has been sober for four. The two believe their group, which they formed about 10 months ago, is a valuable means to help others live a sober life. They are not alone. The City of Greensburg has embraced the group as an exceptional way to combat addiction in the community. When one uses drugs, it affects the whole being of a person and when one could not control the intake, it could even lead to death. But what is more amazing is the fact that there are so many who have been abusing drugs for a very long time now. Although these people may think that they are doing just fine as they have been using it for a long time, sooner or later, death will take over. Just take this man as an example. A man who had abused alcohol and drugs for almost twenty years has died from an overdose of recreational and prescription drugs. Click here for more information. The body of 37-year-old William Maslen was discovered on September 12 2018 at his home in Boroughs Close, Corsham by his friend who had gone to check on him. The court heard police statements in which Mr Maslen’s parents, Susan and Richard Maslen said they were aware of his long term drug problem which started in his early 20’s when he would experiment with cannabis and heroin at music festivals. But one thing is for sure, regardless of how helpful they think of drugs to them, at the end of the day, drugs are still dangerous. Nothing good comes out of using it- just harm to all aspects of a person. As the users increase, many of them also get arrested. This is why when we watch TV or read the news, there is always a report about a drug arrest. Another man has been arrested for drug possession. A 51-year-old man was arrested on Friday evening, after he was found in possession of 41 grammes of cannabis, police said on Saturday. According to authorities, members of the drug squad, Ykan went to the man’s house in Avgorou at approximately 5:45pm, after receiving a court-ordered search warrant. Click here to read the news. Sometimes, it’s so hard to keep up with these changes. There are changes that are good. On the other hand, there are those that are harmful. Let us take drug addiction as an example. In the past, we wouldn’t really notice how it impacts children. But today, the age of drug users is getting younger. Also, may drug users harm kids because of drug addiction. Let us take this mother and a Transfer man from Greenville who are now in the Mercer County jail after allowing a 2-year old to ingest a drug.
